Biography
I was born in 1966 in Kermanshah, some 500 Km to the west of Tehran. In the summer between my first and second year of the primary school, we moved to Tehran. The rest of my primary school was in “Nahal-e-Arezoo” near to our house. In 1980, I entered “Alborz High school”. I graduated from the high school in 3 years.
It was due to spending the second and third grades at the same year. Late Mr Lanca Merer played an important role in entering this high school. My friend, Mr Zargham Hossein Ahmadi (now a famous heart surgeon) gave me his nice biology notebook and played an important role in my exams to be passed, saving a year of my life.
Being in the atmosphere and studying in this High school was a prize to me. Attending the classes and learn points influenced me so much. Its effects are still alive with me.
In 1983, after graduation from high school, I entered the school of dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences. It is the largest and the oldest one in my country. I have to say, being in this dental school has been an unrepeatable dream, learning from pioneers of this field. I was graduated in 1989, after presenting my research thesis before five juries. My research thesis was supervised by late professor Farmand. At the same year, after passing the national exam I entered the Department of Orthodontics, Tehran University of Medical Sciences. It was a dream for me since I entered the clinic.
In 1995, after presenting my research work, before 7 jury members and passing the national board exam, I started my career as the assistant professor of Shiraz dental school. After 7.5 years of work, we moved to Tehran.
It was an honor for me to be accepted to work in Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2004, and become a colleague of my previous instructors. In 2005, I was associate professor of this department. In 2010, I was honored by promotion committee of our university and became professor. I cannot express my feelings when I was informed of this committee. I have to work hard to give a suitable answer to the trust of our university in promoting me. The University that provided me with whatever I am nowadays.
Dr.Allahyar Geramy with the support of years of experience in the field of orthodontics and having an experienced and committed staff, is proud to serve in this field. Simultaneously with the growing and expanding global media of the Internet, this group also decided to launch this website in order to inform and provide a wide range of its services, taking advantage of this huge potential.
Dr. Alhiar Gerami, by focusing on the satisfaction of the audience, has been able to achieve the honors that the acquisition of numerous commendation plaques from various authorities and sources has shown the success of this collection in this regard.
It is hoped that this system will be able to take a positive step towards the advancement and development of this field and increasing services by providing up-to-date information and providing focused and optimal services in the field of orthodontics.
